All of our equipment is calibrated to ISO-10012-1, formally Mil-STD-45662A and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 . We perform dry tape to ASTM D3330/M with tape per ASTM -D-3359 and wet tape adhesion testing to Federal Standard 141, test method 6301.3 / ASTM D 2510/D3330M. Specular Gloss testing and verification is performed to ASTM D523 @ 20,60 & 80 degrees respectively.

Dry Film Thickness Testing is conducted per ASTM E376-11 and ASTM D 7091-B via Eddy Current Method. Wet film Testing is conducted per ASTM D1212 up to 60 mils. Thickness. Accelerated Corrosion / Salt Spray Testing is conducted per ASTM B-117.

Surface treatment testing prior to applying coating is performed with litmus papers and checked for pH and a water break-free condition to assure proper adhesion and finished results.

For program specific special processes and control, Advanced Metal coatings, LLC., process engineering staff are available to develop, write and submit for review special process control and test documents to meet your individual program requirements.

We are available for consultation and will provide FAI, First Article Inspection data upon prior request. We can submit this data or you may perform source / site inspection at our facility.
